Residents can count upon a helping hand with the activities of daily living, including grooming, dressing, bathing and medication management. Activities are designed to help maintain strength, independence and peace of mind—and to be fun! Each person’s tastes and preferences are honored in every way possible. Private apartments with full kitchens, private bathrooms, walk-in showers are available.

At The Rivers, residents are encouraged to get the most out of every day—and every experience! The Embrace the World Activity Program takes residents out of regular day-to-day activities and literally opens up a world of possibilities: entertainment, food samplings, educational programs, concerts, and guest speakers from numerous international regions. We explore the world, as well as our own backyard!

In addition, residents engage daily in a range of activities and events that focus on the whole person, incorporating all eight dimensions of wellness.
